The construction project for the reinforcement, expansion and improvement of Port de la Bonaigua C-28 route, between Baqueira and the border of the region, proposes different actions.

PROGEO Geotechnical Consultants is hired for the redesign and optimization  of the initial construction project works, taking into account the environment resources and limitations. Both, for cutting and embankment, breakwater walls,  bolts and triple torsion meshes execution, embankments with geosynthetics and micropiles, and retaining structures for landslides are defined.

 Developed PROGEO geotechnical consulting activities include the following topics:

• Complementary geotechnical surveys definition and analyses.
• Field visits for discontinuities data procurement, from geomechanical stations and pits.
• Study and design of slopes alternatives, as breakwater walls and bolts and triple torsion meshes execution. Carrying out dynamic, kinematic and 2D geomechanical analyzes (Plaxis and Slide).
• Embankments execution study and design, with geotsynthetics and micropiles. From 2D geomechanical modeling (2D Plaxis).
• Retaining structures study and design, located in an active landslide zone: from monitioring equipment, complementary surveys and two-dimensional (2D Plaxis) and structural designs.
