He was awarded with a doctoral degree in Geotechnical Engineering in 1998. His PhD thesis dealt with THM modelling applied to nuclear waste disposal. Dr. Garcia-Fontanet is licensed in the UK and Canada (Alberta, Ontario and British Columbia Provinces) and also worked as senior researcher in the Department of Geotechnical Engineering and Geosciences (UPC \u2013 Barcelona Tech).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]\n<div class=\"listado-nosotros\">\n<p>PRO GEO&#8217;s technical senior team:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Claudia Matos Moquete<\/strong>:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Civil Engineer with Geotechnical Engineering Master (UPC) with\u00a09 years experience.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pedro Jim\u00e9nez Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong>:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Civil Engineer with Geotechnical Engineering Master (UPC) with 5 years experience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]\n<div class=\"listado-nosotros\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">PRO GEO has a stable collaboration with\u00a0<strong>Professor<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Dr.\u00a0Marcos Arroyo<\/strong>, member of the Civil Engineering Department of the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya (UPC). Professor Arroyo obtained his PhD in Bristol University and he has extensive research experience in the field of underground projects, geomechanical modeling, <em>in situ<\/em> geotechnical tests, as well as in the offshore geotechnical engineering field.
